On October 3, 2016, Bombardier finalized the sale of the Amphibious Aircraft program to Viking Air Limited. This agreement covers the Type Certificates for all variants of the CL-215, the CL-215T and the CL-415 aircraft as well as after-market services. At the time of the agreement there were 167 aircraft in operation worldwide:

- 24 CL-215T
- 85 CL-415
